Here are some guidelines to help as you prepare your items for the sale. Click here to see what is acceptable and not acceptable for the sale.

Supplies Needed

HANGERS – in order to protect your clothing items we only accept plastic hangers. Find plastic hangers at Wal-Mart, Target, Dollar Stores. Retail plastic hangers are acceptable too.

STRING TAGS – Avery White Marking Tags Strung (size 1.75 x 1.093 inches) are required on each item to affix our barcode labels to. You can find these at Wal-Mart, office supply stores, the Rhea Lana Store or large quantities may be purchased from Amazon.

You’ll also need re-sealable bags (for shoes, small toys, etc…), masking tape, scotch tape, sharpie, and safety pins. For large quantities of quality safety pins we recommend ordering from Cleaners Supply .

If you would like to print your barcodes at home you’ll need adhesive address labels size 1” X 2 5/8” (30 up). We recommend ordering from Amazon Here. Please note: all labels printed at home MUST be printed in color.

CLOTHING LIMITS AND STRING TAGS

At Walmart: String Tags, 1 3/4 in. x 1 3/32 in., Pack Of 100. Tags also available at Mr. Postman Expresso & The Bee's Knees in Searcy for $2 per bundle of 100 tags (PLEASE PAY WITH CASH ONLY.)

The better they look AND smell, the better they sell! Please take time to wash & iron your clothes if necessary. Please check for stains, broken zippers, torn hemlines, etc. We will be double checking at the store & will not receive any item that is not in excellent condition. Use children's plastic hangers for sizes 6 and below. Use larger plastic hangers for sizes 8 & above. NO METAL/WIRE HANGERS, PLEASE! Plastic & wire-coated hangers can be purchased at discount stores. This makes shopping more pleasant for everyone!

WE DO LIMIT NEWBORN HANGING CLOTHING ITEMS (SIZES 0-9 MONTHS) TO 25 ITEMS PER CONSIGNOR, and MATERNITY CLOTHING ITEMS TO 10 ITEMS PER CONSIGNOR. We also have a restricted list of acceptable brands for junior girl clothing (anything larger than size 18) that can be found by scrolling down on this page. YOU WILL DEFINITELY WANT TO BRING YOUR BEST ITEMS IN THESE CATEGORIES.

ACCEPTABLE ITEMS THIS SEASON!! We will accept all SPRING AND SUMMER clothing and shoes in infant, children's, junior and maternity sizes.

We will also accept ALL items for SPRING and SUMMER:
bathing suits
pool/lake toys
flip flops
summer sandals
shorts
short sleeves
tank tops
dresses
themed outfits for 4th of July

Transitional items for Spring are still accepted, including lightweight jackets, jeans, long sleeves, and pants.


WE WILL NOT ACCEPT
heavy winter coats/boots, heavy fleece, winter sweaters, corduroy, or outfits with Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day or Easter themes.
Please save these items for our next Sale!

Please group items together so that they will equal a value of at least $4.

All pants must be hung on a pants hanger or pinned to a hanger, not folded over, as they tend to end up on the floor.

Safety pin/rubberband all sets and accessories securely together. TWO PEICE OUTFITS SHOULD INCLUDE EACH PIECE ON A SEPARATE HANGER, AND THEN RUBBERBAND THE HANGERS TOGETHER AT THE TOP. Both pieces need to be viewable without unpinning them.

Start cleaning out your closets!
Create a 'Consignment' tub with your children's BEST clothing AND shoes that they no longer wear. Don't forget sports attire, dress up outfits, pajamas, and play clothes in like-new condition. Shoppers love to buy high quality name brand and boutique items for less at our events. Nursery furniture, changing tables, gliders/rockers, bunk beds, and other children's furniture are among our most popular items. We also sell 95% of baby equipment and toys such as Jumparoos, high chairs, car seats, strollers, Bumbos, pack n plays, play kitchens, tool benches, and outdoor playsets!

SHOES-MUST BE IN GREAT CONDITION and please ziptie together if possible - no ziploc bags needed!

Please only bring your LIKE-NEW shoes! Please follow these simple instructions when preparing your shoes. First, PLEASE PUT YOUR CONSIGNOR NUMBER AND PRICE ON A PIECE OF MASKING TAPE ON THE BOTTOM OF or INSIDE OF EACH SHOE. Then safety pin the string tag to a shoe lace or through the shoe eyelet, AND ziptie the two shoes together so they do not get separated. SHOES THAT ARE TOO WORN, DIRTY OR HAVE HEAVY SCUFF MARKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Shoes no longer are required to be in ziploc bags.... we encourage you to ziptie shoes together so they do not get separated during the sale.

BEDDING and BLANKETS

ALL BEDDING must be for infant/children. NO ADULT BEDDING
We will accept the following items for our bedding section:
Crib size sheets
Toddler bed size sheets
Twin size and full-size bedding
Sleeping bags
Pillows
Blankets

We will NOT be able to accept:
Queen or King size sheets
Crib bumpers (including mesh bumpers)
Comforters of any size larger than a full
Duvet covers


Sheets can be placed on a hanger and use a safety pin to secure it.
Use a safety pin to attach the string tag to the sheet.
Please roll sleeping bags up neatly and pin the string tag to the sleeping bag.

Hang and pin blankets over hangers so that shoppers can see them. If they are small receiving blankets, group 2 or 3 together on a hanger and pin them together. Safety pin the tag to the blankets.

BREAST PUMPS

We only accept the wearable, hands free pumps like Willow, Elvie, Momcozy and Spectra brands.
We are not allowed to accept any breast pump that is issued for free from the state health department or insurance company.

LOOSE ITEMS

Bottles, bibs, rattles, socks, etc..... please place in a ziploc bag, and attach the string tag to the outside of the bag. Please use a permanent marker to write your consignor number and price on the bag (in case the tag comes off.)

BOTTLES.... please remove all nipples.

TOYS, FURNITURE AND BABY EQUIPMENT

FIRST, PLEASE WRITE YOUR CONSIGNOR NUMBER AND A PRICE ON A PIECE OF MASKING TAPE AND ATTACH TO THE ITEM. This will allow us to sell your item if the tag happens to fall off. All items must be clean and in working order (batteries included.) Small parts must be bagged and attached to the main part very securely. If parts get separated it will not sell. Games should be taped closed. Puzzles, books, videos and small toys should be grouped accordingly and put in ziploc bags. Secure with clear packing tape and pin tag to the ziploc bag. It is also good to write your consignor number and info on the ziploc bag with a Sharpee in case the tag comes off. Puzzles should be wrapped securely in clear Saran wrap to keep the pieces intact. TOYS NOT PACKAGED APPROPRIATELY WILL BE TURNED AWAY.

We will only accept Disney or other name brand stuffed animals in like new condition.

Large Little Tikes Toys and Furniture are in high demand! When tagging large toys it is best to also attach a piece of masking tape to the toy with your consignor information. This will enable us to sell your toy even if the tag comes off! We sell 95% of Toys, Furniture and Baby Equipment!

Toy recall information- Due to the high number of toy recalls during the past year, we will be inspecting toys very carefully. We reserve the right to pull any toy that we think might have been recalled. To help us, please do not bring any toys that have been subject to a recall. ALSO, per Arkansas law, we cannot/will not accept any breast pump that has been issued for FREE by the Arkansas Health Department as they are not allowed to be sold.

CAR SEATS

Your car seat must have been manufactured within the past five years OR still have a minimum of one year left before it expires/expiration date listed on manufactured sticker. It must not be subject to recall or have been in an accident. You may check the following website for current recalls: www.carseat.org/Recalls/179NP.pdf All seat covers and straps must be thoroughly cleaned. You will be asked to sign a car seat waiver stating your car seat has all the pieces and is in excellent condition, has never been in an accident and is not more than five years old. Car seats will be closely inspected for safety reasons.

LIMITS FOR JUNIOR SIZED GIRL CLOTHING...... WE DO NOT HAVE ANY LIMITS/RESTRICTIONS FOR JUNIOR BOY CLOTHING

Junior sizes in teen styles (seasonally appropriate). Please, do NOT send us adult clothing. We will not be able to accept it.

We do NOT accept any formal or prom dresses.


JUNIOR BOYS do not have any restrictions on brands or limits. They need to be in style and up to date. We take current styles that have been in the mall within the last 2-3 years, are trendy and are of current fashion geared to ages 16-22.

GOVERNMENT RULING ON CRIBS

"Because of our high regard for the safety of children and in light of the recent ruling by the CPSC, Rhea Lana's Inc. will no longer be accepting ANY cribs manufactured before December 2010. Cribs manufactured between December 2010 and June 28, 2011, must have a certificate of compliance and not be recalled to be consigned with Rhea Lana's. Any crib manufactured after June 28, 2011, and has not been recalled, can be consigned as long as it meets Rhea Lana's quality standards." ~statement released by Rhea Lana's Inc. (7-12-11)
